FWIW, if you just search the forums you'll see guys here, some with very little experience, fixing cars in worse shape that need to be basically built out of rust flakes holding hands.

It's rare enough (note rare doesn't mean worth weight in gold) that it could in my opinion be saved by someone. They're not exactly making more of them.

So I got the car tonight. The kid drove it to my house. It can’t go over 45 because the frame is bent and the rear is shifted over. As of right now I’m undecided on what to do with it. Its up in the air right now what I’m going to do with it. It needs to be pulled on a frame machine, but can be fixed. I can’t really keep it as a project though.

Post some pics of the car (inside & outside) when you get a chance.

A couple of pics of the interior. I’m still undecided as to what I’m doing with the car. I need to look at the frame damage when it’s not raining and I can’t get it in the garage yet because the nose of my Malibu is bare metal. Once I get epoxy on it I’ll get it outside and get the Olds in.

Yep, that's the shifter. If you part it out, pm me. If not, understandable. It will still drive onto a trailer if the kid drove it to your house.

Edit: nvm on the shifter. I actually literally just saw one on ebay and snatched it up (plus the top plate), and as said it would be easier to sell/move around with a working shifter in the car. good luck with it man. If the body isn't too tweaked I'd look into a frame swap and replace sheet metal. Or take what you want from it and pass it on.
