rims are a dime a dozen. i have two sets now. threw away a set back in the early nineties, nobody wanted them.

There’s a guy on eBay right now asking $750 for a set. He thinks they’re gold. Aren’t they just regular olds wheels painted gold?
they are a 14x6 aluminum rim, '78-'80? painted gold for '79 H/O production and for '80 442 production.
the center caps are the first to go, being die-cast, people destroy them thinking that they snap on and off. but they are bolted onto the rim from the back. i have a complete set of damaged center caps to prove it.
I grabbed a few pics tonight. The quarters and doors have a lot of bondo down low and the *ss is toast. Such a shame. The car got a really bad paint job on it at some point.

I thought they looked aftermarket too. The kid says he has the original window sticker. He owes me one wheel still and I owe him a little money so I’ll hopefully get it.
There’s parts on it that I want so $500 for the car whole is no good.
The car will be long gone in 4 months.
I looked at some pics on the internet and the t tops are definitely aftermarket, as long as the guys that are claiming to have factory t top cars are truthful. Now I don’t feel as bad tearing the car apart.
