Power Mirror G Body?

$400 for Corvette mirrors is ridiculous. I bought two C4 Vette mirrors for $30 each on Ebay.

I was going to use them on my Cutlass but ended up not wanting to mess with it. I never really bugged me to just adjust the mirror by hand.
They're so small compared to the mirrors on my truck that it doesn't really matter anyway. I don't use them.

late model Fiero mirror housings are BOLT ON for the 86-87 El Camino and Monte with Camaro style sport mirrors, exact same casting and base angle.. They are available with factory power too, I used these and a 94 Buick Roadmaster switch which fit right into the factory joystick housing on the door panel of my El Camino. It all looks 100% factory, no one outside of the g body community would ever know its not. Very slick and it only cost me 50$ at the junkyard for all that was needed. I'm sure these could be adapted to fit on any g body but they fit on the Chevy for sure.

Addtionally you can get the power guts out of a Camaro, that is what I used, they are the same mounting points as the G-body. I used the 92 Caprice power mirror switch and have dual power mirrors on my Wagon, it is sweet.

I don't see what's so difficult about sticking your hand out the window and adjusting it manually, but if that's your thing, I'm not gonna question it. I've seen it done before, and it is neat when it's done, but it looks looks a good bit of work for something that isn't that big a deal. I'm not trying to discourage you, I just don't really get it. I kinda like the "un-modernness" of my regal, I like having to do things manually. Anyways, good luck if you decide to do it. IMO, Clutch_Grabwell's switch looks the best.

I'm not sure if that style sport mirrors were available in power. Check out B-body cars like Buick Electras, Oldsmobile 88/98's, Pontiac Parisienne, F-body Camaro/ Firebirds of that year range. The mounting bases are probably different, but you can swap the bases with your Malibu bases. That's providing that power mirrors of that style were available.
