Pretzels

UTZ's chips were started in Hanover, PA. So they technically are a PA brand of chip, and used to be regional. At least back in the 80s. You can go to the local store and buy Utz now. Not everything they sell, but most of the typical fare. They've massively expanded their base. Now if Jay's could just do the same. I can order them from WalMart. But they're a bit pricier that way and OMG the shipping turns them into potato splinters. And that f***g sucks.

Pretzels, the new popcorn of GBF!!

The best ones are the soft pretzels in the Philly area.
Slathered in mustard. Followed up with a true Philly cheesesteak. When we were stationed at the Naval Shipyard, a few of us used to run up to Pat's King of Steaks off "Pu$$yank" (what we called it- actually Passyunk) and 9th. Geno's was right across the street, but IMHO they weren't quite as good. Friggin' cheese whiz on those bad boys was awesome. You could feel your arteries clogging with every bite.

Philly was an awesome experience back then in 1981. Potholes on the "Surekill" Expressway would eat your tires though. Seriously.

But Pittsburgh foods have a lot of iron in them! 🙂

At least the beer does. Tastes like it anyway. Ewww!
