On dialup/internet... I know some people who live out in the boonies who can't get any sort of broadband outside a cell phone.

Jack, even though I have youth on my side, I'm still impatient to get it done! 😀 It's my 3rd G-Body & the first two were a lost cause (the first one was from the start ). I do plan on going back up to MI sooner or later (hopefully sooner). If I can find a job at one of the local schools, I'll be able to fly back up sometime in May/June maybe since the schools will be out for summer. Next time I go back up I want to get the frame done, and do the plumbing for the fuel system/brakes. Everything else (outside bodywork) is cake imo. The kicker will be when I have to put the emissions BS on... I'm hoping I can grandfather the car into the state and get a less-strict test (if there is such a thing) and stick with the current Pypes system.

I like the colour, man. I hope you keep it! I always liked the image of the Cutlass as a "gentleman's muscle car" and that sage green really fits that aesthetic. You could carry it over to the Malibu as well. Great work so far!

That's a nice colour too. I really like green G-Bodies, haha. Nice to see one that isn't a "bellybutton" colour, you know? Like, black, silver, white, red...

So the top arms are ready, the lower ball joints were a major PITA... one took my dad & I over a half hour to put in because the POS ball joint tool kept going crooked. The other one we took to a shop... where has the mom & pop stuff gone?!?! The cheapest shop was $30 and took a ehopping 5 minutes from the time he walked into the garage until the time the arm was back in my hand. 4 other shops were $40-45, and one actually quoted me $70... for a ball joint??? I laughed at them and hung up. Long story short I have 2 bushings left in a lower arm, the upper arms are ready to install, going to paint the cross shafts when I paint the frame, and the two lowers still need paint. Today I may get the last two bushings installed and lower arms painted. Once that's done it's down to cleaning/wiping the frame. After the frame is painted I can install the lines and suspension, then the body.

Lookin' good, Darren.
That's what I like to see...progress. I see you're getting a lot of welding practice. Keep it up man. 🙂
