This is the rounded off bolt I plan to hit with PB blaster, and I pray that using a new impact driver shall help.

Its out. Good riddance, like my f**k dude.

I bought some Pb blaster and an impact wrench, and got the second bolt free.

Then, here I am thinking I could relax but guess what? There was a shitty bracket that some cocksuckin engineeer thought was genius to add, and on top of that have the control arm so close that getting it out took some convincing lmao.

So after work today I got to installing the new starter. Had no idea the parts guy ordered an ac delco one, which I don't mind, better than some of the cheaper ones.

Good news though, is that it spins the motor faster and tells me I'm not dealing with anything seized at least.

That said, the shitty news is, it's still turning over slower than I would like, and that it's struggling to a fair amount still.

I plan to use PB in the spark plug holes, and change the oil. Will grab a johnson bar, and try turning the thing by hand to help get things more eased up haha.

Bought some Marvel Mystery Oil and a breaker bar today, along with some spark plug sockets.

Threw in 20% according to the instructions, and used the bar to move the crankshaft pulley. It was a bit tight but nothing rough thankfully.

Starter seems to be struggling not as bad either, so I will remove the plugs tomorrow and spray PB in there.

Good news people. After moving the ground cable and strap its starting even better than the Chevy Caprice is lmao.

Now to get some gas and I will be good.

Today we brought the thunder.

Good job. Pull the valve covers and make sure it is oiling the top end. Hopefully the valve train noise will quiet down when the lifters pump up. If not the SBC has an adjustable valve train. But for now leave it alone and make sure it oils and will stay cool so you can run it up to operating temperature
