Well, I guess you won't need a dual-hump crossmember. And if your passenger is under 5'1", should have plenty of legroom.

Little bit at a time.... Need to turn the downpipe a bit to line up better, but you get the idea.

So I decided running the wires for my stereo over the exhaust tunnel was probably a poor choice, So I ran them half way up the door sill, across to the transmission tunnel, then up behind the dash. My scraps of sound deadening material were perfect for holding it to the floor.

Then the daunting task of cutting my carpet! It didn't turn out too bad, actually, even though I was sweating bullets as I cut. There really was no good way to mark it out...

Heater box is fitting nicely so far. Still going to have to relocate the drain as it's in the way of the exhaust. I was very surprised to see that the inside portion of the box JUST clears the exhaust tunnel, with enough room to fit my hand between them.

And if anyone can tell me what this piece of foam is on the heater door, and whether or not it will cause a problem when I rip it off.... This is why new cars have cabin air filters, this thing is disgusting, and the same material lines all the heater/blend doors on this box. Gross.

Little more progress.... Nothing too interesting.

Finally got the dash back together and mounted a boost gauge:

Brand new fuel line

And I decided to use a bulkhead fitting instead of cramming the propane hose between the frame and trunk floor like it was when I took it out

Well time has run out, and we're down to 1 vehicle, so unfortunately the Malibu is going back together without a turbo for the time being. Will be slowly gathering parts up over the summer and mocking some stuff up. Will tear into this again in the fall!
