Well... a couple of minor final finish items are being wrapped up. Timing is terrible, as I am heading on an elk hunting trip next week, so I may not be able to pick up the car until mid-September. Like Tom Petty sang, the waiting is the hardest part.

Well, no elk were harmed but a good time was had by all. Still trying to get caught up, but the plan is to pick up the Cutlass this coming Friday. I am 3+ hours away from the shop. Here's how stupid things are right now - a 1 way rental of a compact car would be $300, but I can get a 20' Uhaul truck for $79. So guess what I'm driving to go pick up my car?

Today is the day. Weather is unusually mild, high in the low 70s, low humidity, sunny and no rain. Should be a nice day to cruise with T-Tops out. Of course, I'll have to wear a hat to protect my balding head from sunburn. Something I never worried about when I had my first Cutlass.
