Yeah, I've watched several of his vids. He also has a lot of "competitions" between stuff. Like the "best" rust removers and oils like you said. It's more backyard science than precision lab testing, but I do have to hand it to him, he tries to make things as equal as possible when doing the tests. It's always beneficial to get good feedback on a product you've been thinking about buying, and this way you can actually see how it fares in a real-world situation.
The rust remover stuff was pretty fascinating to me to watch as I was wanting to know if buying the Evapo-Rust was worth it. It's cheaper than Krud Kutter, which "won" the competition, but it's more expensive. Evapo-Rust does work well, though, for most rust stuff.
