Sorry I was in a bit of hurry yesterday guys. We were going to celebrate my mother in law's birthday at our house.

So needless to say I got the headers for the swap. Another thing checked off the list. Now fuel system, whatever I'm going to use for the efi system, and the transmission. Getting there slowly.

Started putting the springs on the 243 heads. While I had the old springs off I lapped the valves in to make sure they had a good seat. Used the same home made tool I used on the Vortec heads when I installed the springs on those. Sometimes it pays to be cheap 😉

Finally nearly ready to bring it home for summer. Decided to see if it would start or even Cran battery was shot. Tried charging it, didn't help. Bought a new battery yesterday and dropped it in tonight. Sounds good to hear it again!
