BUILD THREAD Project long time coming

So black and grey/charcoal. See I thought a little splash of color that isn't in your face would help break it up some. Given that the heads are aluminum, you really can't see much of the engine. I was going to keep the aluminum bits natural or silver, intake is black plastic, stainless headers.... it will have less purple than the sbc had on it since that had iron heads painted purple.

I think you forgot the gold metal flake in it.

I like it! It’s different and pretty much unique (and I wasn’t kidding about the gold flake.)

Match the color of the car. Damn barney nonsense 😂!
This ^^^

Scott’s on board with what time it is!
But if you choose to keep it, know that all the African Violets in the world and “Barney” will have your back.
😁
All kidding aside, you do you.
😉

Long block is together, just waiting on the valve covers to finish soaking and degreasing. Intake bolts are supposed to be here today.

Valve covers cleaned and painted with black hammered finish. New AC Delco water pump and tstat housing for a Camaro clear coated and installed. I use high heat engine paint for the clear coat. Always had good luck with it not yellowing over time. Few more parts showing up around Christmas hopefully 🙏

Alright guys I need help/opinions. I know you're all full of them 😅

Trying to decide between factory pcm and standalone harness, or the Terminator system... There are pro's and cons to both. Thoughts?
