BUILD THREAD Project long time coming

Looks like it's fitting nice. Were those long tube headers for a fourth gen Camaro or are they for a G-body? I'm not familiar with them.
They are for a G body. I might toss them on tomorrow just to check fitment, but they'll have to come off in order for other things to be done.
 
Hopefully I don't need to do that!

So where is everyone putting their ecu? How about the hole for the wiring harness?
 
Being that mine is a '78, I don't have a hole but that's easily remedied. If the harness will reach its not a bad idea!

Yes-sir, I understood it's a '78.

My point was the routing & through firewall access spot worked on the later EFI cars so that seemed like a logical start suggestion. The later PASS side inner kick panel is just a 2pc set-up (w/the ECU sandwiched between) vs. the earlier 1pc kick panel (carb/pre-CCC) so it's possibly also direct plug & play if as you mentioned the harness length allows.
