BUILD THREAD Project long time coming

Well time for an update.
Lee Manufacturing sent a new fitting and a custom line, all free of charge. Obviously their line fit the new fitting, the JIC line I had made locally also fit, as did the AN fuel line fittings. Ends up the first fitting they sent was messed up from the get go. Good on them for the awesome customer service to right a wrong. I would definitely recommend them to anyone

Bought a heat shield for the starter to help with my slow cranking when the engine is hot. Hopefully it helps.

Got ahold of my friend so I could get an alignment and state inspection. Dodged a rain storm yesterday and made it over to his shop a few miles away. We got it on the alignment rack, got one side partially adjusted, and started on the passenger side. Then the power went out. Just my luck LOL Left the car there yesterday and we're going to finish it up tonight.

Just got back from his shop tonight. We ended up with 1.5° camber, 10.2° caster, and 1/16" toe in. I'm happy with those numbers.

In other news, the only adjustments I've made to the tune is to adjust the injector size, and rpm limit. When I slow down and come to a stop the engine stalls. Starts back up, but I think I have some adjustments to make.

Also my oil hot oil pressure seems extremely low, so I definitely need to figure that out, and Quickly. 😬 It's always something! LOL

But the transmission feels much better and is definitely quieter than it was by far so I'll take that as a win.
Meant to quote this Wednesday but the storm that whipped it’s way through PA knocked out power and Internet for a few days.

The starter heat shield is well worth the money and effort to install it, just putting that on cured all my hot start issues with the starter.

Messed with the car a little yesterday. Still hadn't adjusted the rear suspension ride height. Did that then adjusted the left front as well. It was sitting lower because of the additional weight with moving the accessories around.

Changed the engine oil and filter. Started it up first and had 28psi cold with the 5w30. Afterwards I had 49psi cold with the 15w40.

I didn't get a chance to drive it since it's been down pouring. Plus I needed it out of the garage to work on a friend's Jeep that needs the rear axle assembly replaced. Fingers crossed this will take care of it.

I do not have an oil temp sender. We'll see what the hot oil pressure is once I can drive. Probably next weekend

Glad to hear, hopefully should be picking mine up from Auto Zone today since they had to order it in

Finished my buddies Jeep rear end and moved the Malibu back into the garage. Let it warm up and still had good oil pressure. Hopefully thats all it was. Going to try to go to a Saturday morning car cruise about 25 miles away that always brings the high end cars out.
