I think I might like the new direction
Hey guys, thanks for all the comments and well wishes, they were a real treat to come home to after a 14 hour day and read.
Just got in the door, extremely long day and all 3 of us are wiped, but it’s been quite rewarding at the same time. Unfortunately we didn’t quite get as far on the car as I had planned, but we did not too bad either.
I don’t want to give too much away just yet, but suffice to say the sealer coat is done, it’s been de-nibbed and a lil boo-boo fixed (ask Duke about that one, I’m sure he’d love to tell you 🤣), the pinstripe color shot, and the stripes along the sides and over the roof all laid out.
We started laying out the stripes on the trunk as well, but decided discretion was the better part of valour and shut things down before something got screwed up. It was already a 12 1/2 hour day by that point, finishing up the masking took up most of it.
A couple pics to tide you over in the meantime, we’ll be finishing it up and getting to the good stuff tomorrow. For now, it’s pizza and a well deserved beer or two, then off to the showers and bed!
