👍👍 stealing the 6mil moisture barrier idea... We are all lucky you have OCD 😆
A suggestion for those not wanting to permanently seal the vapor barrier- Use that gooey, thin 3M black butyl strips on the barrier to stick it to the door. It might be easier to remove if you ever have to.
If you pull the butyl then cut it with a razor it makes less of a mess, but it still sucks. That’s precisely the stuff I wanted to avoid. The stuff is terrible, makes a helluva mess. Useful for removal, maybe, but that’s offset by the mess it makes when you have to work around it.
That’s why I chose to use silicone, it’s cheap, dries completely, and can easily be removed and redone if needed.
Well, now that you have the template and 4 under your belt, how much for a doubled jute set and vapor barrier shipped to 21771? PayPal?Actually I did not. I got a big roll of it for free from a coworker when he was purging his garage. I knew immediately that I’d have uses for it. 😁
Make that two sets 🤣Well, now that you have the template and 4 under your belt, how much for a doubled jute set and vapor barrier shipped to 21771? PayPal?
