Not necessary to send the Hi tech pushrod checkers out they are .050 for a full turn. I get all my pushrods from Trend which happen to be local for me and they make theirs in increments of .025 which would be a half a turn on the checker.

No try to use a solid lifter Or weld a hydraulic one you don’t want any movement

You can buy a single solid lifter and then keep it with your pushrod kit for future builds.
