little of the topic post but seems as if its getting harder and harder to find reputable performance and machine shops most are hacks just looking to cash in on unsespecting customers. I had a machine shop do a basic 350 clean bore block machine crank 10/10 recon rods and such get engine together primed and fired up only a month to wipe out a set of bearings boggled the brain why i didnt have oil pressure till i decided to pull motor again to find the crank and bearings shot and these mf have the nerve to tell me i should have double checked everything and offered no other support granted some other customers must have gotten the same treatment and a week later their store was vandalized and most of their instore stock stolen serves them right

Thats exactly why you do double check everything. It sucks you have to but I always do. Never know when someone made a mistake. Being told "oh well you should of double checked our work" is bullshit though.

rite because i paid good money so i shouldnt have to double check sh*t. if i was paying a company like roush hendricks i would not be double checking sh*t especially when they had a complete motor dropped off to them they should have been checking the tolerances i will from now on and wont be using that ms anymore plus it was my first engine rebuild happened when i was only 16 was quite a costly lesson but learned well :wtf:

It has happened to me too. It is reality, sometimes stuff gets messed up, check it yourself or end up having a pile of sh*t in front of you. I had it happen with a very expensive engine build. I got told the same sh*t you did, since then I check everything. If you don't regardless of who builds it you run the chance of having another pile of sh*t in front of you.

I wish it were only $3500. I have more like $6000 into this motor.

yours is running just pushing the oil out mine shot and on top of that 3500 i had to buy another crank no more regrinds more machining to align hone and all that good stuff rebalance. Just all in all a bad taste in the mouth i got ya also frustrating kinda hard to act adult like when you have a loss of any amount$ on the mind 😢

if yer gonna use sealer wit the gasket, wait 24 hours for the stuff to cure before filling the oil back up. i learned that the hard way.
