Steering arm will not work

I plan on removing that, just wanted to make sure i had the right box.

I think mine was off a 94 Grand Cherokee, but I just swapped the pitman arms.

I think that should be a usable box, when I can find my spreadsheet of parts I can say what I bought.

98 grand Cherokee will work. Has the quick ratio your looking for. But beware, it has more travel than a gbody gear, which may cause tires to rub on full turns.

That's what I was going by but it didn't really show the boxes all that well and I got confused when I saw the big "Z" stamped on it.

You used your old arm from the factory gbody box?

Some G bodies had the 600 series box like yours with the round top and some had 800 series(fast or slow ratio). The pitman arms are all different from 600 to 800 and Jeep. 403Olds probably had the slow ratio 800 box to start.

yes, my 85 box had the same output shaft as the jeep. It was pretty much a plug and play, swap the pitman arm, the Gbody hoses fit fine.

Just an update. I got the Pittman arm from speedway as suggested, cleaned her up, painted and installed. Thanks all for the help.
