Measurement questions:
1) What is the measurement between the tanks? This one shown below is 26-1/2 inches.

2) Tank sizes Both 2-7/8 to 3 inch or is one 1-7/8 to 2 inch as below?

3) Overall does your original look similar to this?

These are photos of the leaking radiator I pulled from my 267 V-8 powered 79 Monte Carlo. I do have a feeling the core is too long between the tanks. and due to it leaking it would need a re-core. Plus unless you are traveling to Buffalo NY any time soon shipping these days just costs stupid money.

You could always paint an aluminum radiator black and many styles have factory looking tanks.

I'm in Michigan. So yeah shipping is needed. i never been to NY. i think between the tanks like 25 1/2 "? I'm not sure about the tank sizes i didn't even think to measure those. lol.
I'll have to check in a bit when i go back out to see. I'll compare the bottom pictures to yours.

Yeah, i thought about that also. just can't find any full aluminum ones under $175 lol. One of the 4dr cars I'm trying to make a deal on is also buick v6. so maybe I'll steal the rad from it if good lol

I don't know how important the exact look is but you could always source a V8 shroud which will open up a lot more options for radiators.

Default count on the rad is two row. For a brass cored radiator, suggest you get in touch with a restoration company that deals in brass era automobiles; that is from the dawn of the horseless carriage to around 1917 or slightly later. Most cars from that era had a proportionately higher percentage of brass casted parts in their assemblies than those that appeared post WWI. Beware, in that genre, BRASS = $$$$$$.

Other thing here is that what you believe to be brass might well be copper. I have several corpses lurking around that used to be 2 core rads and the cores were copper, just painted black when new. The telltale is the green colored oxidation that starts to appear. The rows of cooling fins have a bad tendency to rot due to electrolysis between the copper and the coolant. BE also aware that the solder that was used to join the tanks to the core was heavily lead based and toxic. A lot of the rad shops had issues with employees who inhaled the fumes during the removal/re-attachment process, even when it was done under a fume hood and developed COPD or similar.

Finding a radiator for a buck and a half ish is gonna be tough. Aluminum or brass. And a brass one will more than likely need rebuilt. You'll be more money in a brass radiator after finding a place to rebuild it as a good quality aluminum radiator. (Which is readily available)

i don't like the look of the v8 ones. the little ones fit the v6 appearance the best IMO. plus new insulators would be needed and yeah... no thanks. i bought all new NOS v6 insulators couldn't find any companies that made em for 2 core new.
