Rear Control Arms, What kind and What Vendor?

Poly binds up the rear suspension since it lacks a secondary axis of movement which is required for 4 link setups. This can cause snap oversteer which is nasty. Most of the aftermarket rear arms are designed mainly for track use and not much street use. If you must have to get aftermarket arms, buy ones with the roto joints. The stock rubber bushing deflect to allow a secondary axis of movement like a crude roto joint. Lubing poly bushings does not stop binding.

The aftermarket, frame mounted rear sway bar is the real improvement. The stock rear sway bars create some binding.

I went with the UMI stuff. Mine aren't adjustable but I couldn't pass up the deal. I also added the bolt in control arm mount braces and an 80s Z28 rear sway bar that I bent the ends inwards on so I could bolt it to the frame. Will be going with a thicker bar soon. If you are looking to strengthen the rear then I would put more emphasis on a good anti roll bar instead of control arms for now.
