Hello, all. New user here. Got a quick question with what I'm sure is not the easiest answer.
I recently nailed the rear end of my '84 Regal horribly on a set of train tracks (anyone who's ever driven up 31 through Kokomo, knows those tracks). So, I get it towed to a shop, and the tech tells me I need a whole new rear end. So he orders it, and when I leave the shop, there's a terrible banging noise from the rear end every time I hit a bump in the road.
I took it to two different techs; one said it's the body mounts, the other said definately not, it's the coil spring bushings. Any other ideas of what it could be, or confirmations of these two theories?
