Hey guy's jsut wondering if a 8.5 out of a 95 buick roadmaster with an Lt1 will fit into a 84 monte? Haven't had time to do the mesurement's little bit cold out and wet to be on the ground. Thanx.

That's what I was afraid of but I read an article a while back about a direct bolt in from a cadillac just can't remember wich car it was...

There is no Caddy axle that is a direct bolt-in swap to a G-body. The Roadmaster axle isn't "a little" wide, it's about half a foot too wide.
Common sense, folks. Supply and demand says that if there were an easy axle swap for these cars, the stock 8.5 wouldn't sell for what it does.
