They look a lot like glorified control arms to me. I got Lakewood's lift-bars. I'm using the stock control arms and get no wheel hop at all.

Mine were $150 new a few years ago. I'd personally pass on these bars you've found here.

You can buy the steel plates separately and use them with any control arm. I have the lower control arm relocation brackets on my '87. These help tremendously on cars that are lowered. They allow you to keep the lower control arms parallel with the ground when its lowered which will help you hook better.
