Whatever it is put it on. Any anti roll bar is a help on Triangulated 4 links. I ran a factory F-41 Sway bar on my chevelle for years before going to the big tire.

3/4, I believe. Now, where is your build thread or let's see some deets on that Salon roasting the hides! (fingers crossed it's not a Chevy)
The Oldsmobile as an original SBC car and yes it still is. The current motor is a 421 inch and makes about 660 horse. Run`s 10.30`s at 2700 feet. The car I am looking for a bigger sway bar for is an 83 Malibu wagon that my daughter runs in sportsman at PIR in Portland Oregon. The Malibu has a 1" bar now and needs more. Just looking for OEM before we go aftermarket.

The only "factory" upgrade over the stock bar would be the 1" 98-05 4wd 2dr blazer bar that mounts to the frame instead of the LCA. Very similar to what you get in the $180 helwig bar but can be picked up at a salvage yard for ~$20 I've got it on my LS2 t56 GP that runs mid 11's and it has worked great so far.

3rd gen F bodies also had a bigger bar that mounts similar to the blazer bar but the arms that go to the end links flare out and they have to be heated and bent inwards.

That Blazer bar, does it only came in 2dr models? Do the 4x4 4dr models have a similar one?
Asking for a friend.....

Yes, the blazer bar only comes on 4wd 2 door models. The bar from the factory sits on the top of the axle pointing forward so in a G body it is flipped upside down and moves from the top to the bottom of the axle.

A 4 Door has the fuel tank in a different spot and mounts pointing back. (random internet photo
