Don't let me discourage you. If you have the time, skills and money necessary to pull it off it is a good value regardless of model year. I prefer 84 and newer T types because the front facias and grills look better than the older models, the IP's, interior aesthetics and wiring is better (factory radio, gauge package, chimes, etc), They came with 8.5" rears and are set up for fuel injection already.

Gauge package? Lucky b*st*rd!! All I got is a speedo that flashes at 85 MPH & some BS idiot lights.. I'm tempted to put an MC/GP dash in my Type-T so I can moniter what's going on..
