Rock Auto has great prices but they have no real customer service to deal with issues like this. There is no phone # to call and your only recourse is to ship the damaged item back and wait for a store credit or a new part to be shipped. I've become more selective about what I purchase from them such as radiators, condensers, evaporators, etc. since these are easily damaged items. The last 2 condensers and last radiator purchased were all damaged to some extent but still usable. I was nervous about the radiator I put in my 98 Silverado since it was dented on one of the cores itself. But I was lucky and didn't have any leaks after installation. Even the compressor I ordered for my truck was damaged in shipping. The clutch face was bent just enough to drag when the a/c was off. So rather than going through the pain of taking it off and shipping it back, I worked out the clutch face as flat as I could and it seems to work fine now. I'm more inclined these days to purchase parts from someone like Advanced Auto by using their online discount of usually 20% and then picking it up at the store for inspection.
