I'm changing my oil pan and I wouldn't even consider trying that if I wasn't going to remove the engine..

No need to remove the motor, unless you were already planning on doing some other work with it out...
If you've got access to a lift, getting the oil pan in and out isn't that bad of a job at all.
A one-piece pan gasket makes it a snap.
I did it a couple times when my 442 had a SBC in it.

I crew on a race car so it's no big deal to snag an engine out, it take me about 2 hours to have mine sitting on a engine stand..I just put this engine in last summer but I cheaped out with a chinese pan so I'll take the engine out and clean it up and change the pan...plus I'm lazy and I hate having to work around things when I don't have to and taking out an engine is easy....I was thinking about putting a roller cam in it but I have some other mods I want to do to the car so I might wait to next year.

Fair enough...
You take any fresh pics since you got your T-5 install all finished up?

I'll take some pictures with the car in the shop and I just remembered I have take the engine out since I'm cleaning up another frame to slide underneath so I can box the frame and put in new plumbing and body mounts...Jman is going to use the frame that's under there now. I have another GP with great doors and fenders which don't have the wide chrome so I don't have to shave the studs since I'm getting rid of the chrome...and I plan to cut the middle section of the front bumper leaving just the bottom of the middle intact so it'll just have a one piece grill from top to bottom and then I'll thro some paint on the car..and for the interior I have some ricaro GTA seats to install...
