lookin sharp! whens the small block go in?

hey 2000

The small block is already in this one, along with a freshly rebuilt th350 with a 3000 stall converter and shift kit. I also believe that the rear end has had some work done to it as well, it does have the gears upgraded. I can tell this because at highway speed it acts like its stuck in second gear til you hit the loud pedal and she just goes. I purchased this regal with all this already installed. The 1986 regal has a 307 olds. Ill get some pics of the engine bay asap. Ill be back home tuesday evening have to detail the engine bay and maybe install the new valve covers idk yet.

suspension mods are forth coming. I have drop spindles, sway bars, tubular rear control arms, drop springs and shocks sitting in the game room waiting to be installed. And yes, I have considered wheel spacers but idk yet, maybe not with the amount of drop this thing will have.

is there anyway possible you can tell me all the products you used?? i wanna do this paint job to my 84 cutlass.. this looks bad *ss!!!

June 1st Update

Well, got up and got on the GNX-SS project this morning and got the a/c and heater box pulled/busted out of it and got a delete panel fabricated from an old trunk lid I had. I just used some cardboard as a template and laid it out on the trunk lid and cut it out. Wasnt too hard at all. Had to paint it, so I havent got it installed yet. Had to take out the a/c heater box, couldnt get the cylinder head back on with the studs, and I didnt want to take them back out so I just decided to do away with the a/c and heat stuff. Not driving this car in the winter, nor is it a daily driver soI wasnt too concerned with that stuff. Anyway, glad I did the other head gasket as well since it was starting to deteriorate around the number 8 cylinder. Wont be able to work on it again until Wednesday afternoon or thursday morning. Then I need to adjust the valves and reinstall the other engine parts, hook up the gauges and cruise once again. Ill get some pictures up asap of the delete plate. Anyone that needs a template for a delete plate, pm me, Ill send you one for a nominal fee or a vote in the Gbody of the Month.

car looks great man! Dont forget on the delete panel to make a provision to keep your hood weatherstripping otherwise water will pour in. Also seal the delete panel with some kind of silicone or gasket maker to keep air and water out. I did read you are not driving this everyday so that may or may not be an issue.
