Sheesh! It seems like everyone on the forum that has painted their car in the last 2 months has had a failure of some sort! What was the name of the paint system you used? The other two failures were Diamont related.

damn....sorry dude, i'm already expecting something to go wrong come time for me to paint mine, it just seems inevitable to happen to us do it yourselfers. i'm using same brand stuff so hopefully i'll be good

Here's hoping that you break the unlucky streak I started back at the beginning of March!

Finally painted...again.....not what you was expecting....

Well, the paint is done, all except for the hood, we are transferring the hood from my 1986 Regal to this one due to
some issues with rust and dents, etc. Decided to go satin black on the entire car. Didnt like and wasnt impressed with any of
the gray colors that I had picked out, so went with satin black instead. Got the mirrors, new lock cylinders, the complete spoiler, the
GNX fender louvers, the grille, the headlight bezels and the tailights installed as well as the windshield trim reinstalled. The tailights need to be
repainted badly, they came off this car and havent been repainted since 1987. They looked like they were in good shape, until you get them up against new
paint and they stick out like a sore thumb, no biggie tho, they come right off. Fender flares are painted and are still curing before I install them.
Also got my new headliner in from Mike;s Montes on Friday. Still have to reinstall the door panels and install the headliner. Replaced all the exterior lights on the
car as well, havent installed the front headlights yet, but have gotten all new bulbs for them as well as painted the retaining bezels for the headlights satin black.
All in all Im happy with it. Tomorrow, I hope to get the bumpers installed and maybe the fender flares too. Then I still have to tackle the weatherstripping on the roof rails, and the aforementioned
interior work. Then, all I have to do is install those sexy wheels and sexy suspension components. Heres a few of the pics I took, pardon the tree pollen and dust, dont have a lot yet, been trying to
get it all together and take a few here and there.
