s10 manual box rebuild?

Has anyone rebuilt there s10 manual box? Are there parts still on the mark to rebuild these boxes? I have built a body manual boxes back in the 80's so this is not my first time at a manual box rebuild. I also thought about
buying three or more boxes for parts. Can you buy new boxes or quality factory rebuilt boxes. Just want to know what options there are.

I have a remanufactured S10 manual gear in my store, but without a core exchange, these things are $400 out the door :shock: and it looks like I ordered the last one in the country, because there are no more available :|

Boxes go for $50 to $100 used on the west coast.I think I will buy 3 or 4 and go through them.
