...and the outlet size for the line fitting going to the rear brakes is 1/2-20 instead of 9/16-18. The line fitting going to the front brakes is the same 1/2-20.

SUMMARY

Normal, left hand drive S-10: Both outlets on the engine side and both outlet sizes are 1/2-20 inverted flare.

Right hand drive S-10: Both outlets are the driver fender side and are the standard 1/2-20 IF fitting for the front brakes and the standard GM 9/18-18 IF fitting for the rear brakes. So no modifications to your brake lines or brake line fittings. Direct bolt on.
Thanks for clearing that up, Dave, and explaining the difference between master cylinders.

Had this in stash. #18047470. Guessing S series truck as well? Frankly thought it was Trailblazer/Envoy. Google search doesn't bring up anything, just similar looking masters.

Yes, but it's meant for when you have larger front calipers that need more volume. If you don't have bigger calipers I wouldn't personally.

I guess I’ll just go with a stock replacement then. My “new” master, seems new but I installed it in 2007, is leaking by the booster.

Yep. We cleaned out RockAuto and Amazon. Alternate manufacturers and part numbers too.

This mc is from a 2006 Trailblazer SS, could this be used as a substitute for the 2000 S10 mc?
