Serp system mechanical fan

Hi I bought a 90 iroc front accessories SERP system for my 85 Buick Regal with a sbc 350 I want to keep my mechanical fan I wanted to know how I could do that

You will need to find a fan from a vehicle that uses the serpentine belt system with a mechanical fan. I found a fan from a late '80s or early '90s GM pickup for mine. Keep in mind that the serpentine setup rotates in the reverse direction to a V belt setup. You will also need a water pump that is reverse rotation as well.

So I need to go to junk yard An look for a like 88-92 Chevy 5.7 fan?

305 or 350. Doesn't matter. S10 truck with the 4.3 V6 and serpentine MAY be the same, I'm not 100% sure. Just make sure that it comes off a vehicle that has a serpentine setup, and is the same overall diameter as the V belt mechanical fan. Good luck.

I sourced a fan from about a 91 Caprice. They had a seven blade reverse rotation fan. The Roadmaster used the same blade. Here you go....

Anything with a serpentine system with a mechanical fan should work. as they switched to only long water pump long before they used serpentine belts.

Vortec powered trucks have them too.
