wageslave is using a newer 96-98 Vortec s10 serpentine setup. It is different than the early 90's TBI setup, which is why his ac compressor is on the Dr. side, and the top-mounted hoses are a possible issue. It is obvisously working, but the TBI setup is the preferred setup to use.

That's a beautiful engine bay. Super clean, and sanitary. The GMPP kit is based off the Camaro setup.

I guess I should have specified, this is the 96-03 S-10 brackets. The TBI ones are better, but these can be easier to find in a junkyard.

Whatever set you get, don't forget to get a reverse rotation water pump to go with it.

Clarmo,

How did you patch this into the G-body AC system? What hoses, condenser and receiver did you use?

Well you'll need more than one threaded hole to mount it. I believe it was three. Two in the head and one in the block.

As for mounting/accessory holes, all '69 up SBC's & '78 up SBC based V6's all have the same ones so no drilling or tapping should be needed unless there was a "oops" with one. I'd say the changes in the mid '70's with the water pump but that won't be an issue as you'll be using a reverse flow pump from a serpentine application.

I’m using a 3rd gen Camaro IROC serpentine setup. It uses at least 2

if not all 3 head bolt holes to attach the system to the heads.

The engine in my Grand Prix was missing one of the holes in the passenger side head. I just left that one off and haven't had a problem with it. I used a 88-92 f body setup and the engine was an 82 305.
