Thank you guys!
My slantback is the only one I´ve ever seen! The history is well known: Owner was an old car dealer from Belgium, born in 1928. He bought the car brandnew in 1978 for his own private use. His company was closed in the late 90´s. But he had a collection of twelve beloved cars, mostly European brands. He died in 2004, and later a German collector of historic cars bought the whole collection.
This picker couldn´t handle the Olds, so he saled it to a German US-Car dealer, nearby the Netherland´s border. The dealer restored the old car but could not sell it, because there was a straight six 3.8l in it. He replaced it - now there is a 4.3l V8 in it. The two tone grey is renewed in 2015.
The car is so bizzare, that the reactions are mostly funny. Sometimes I visit some German US Car meetings with mostly Corvettes, Road Runners, Mustangs, Camaros and so on. But the people are mostly starring at my cheap Olds. No enviers, no haters ...
