Small Block Crate Engines

Seems a tad pricey for only 290 hp. I would shop around a little more.

That is complete turn key ready to drop in and go not just a longblock

it does seem a tad pricy for turn key as well. the problem i see with it is the heads. it has the large chamber which are hurting the power. i would most certainly shop around.

How much is the complete turn key setup :?: $1600 :?:

That is a much better deal than the Patroit engine. $2300 more for 60hp and less of a warranty :? GM crate engines are good quality and they come with a warranty that is backed by your closest dealership :idea:

the motor he linked was $2500 and some change. i just linked what someone else suggested. jasper also has some good deals.

I picked up a GM Performance H.O. Deluxe crate a while back for $3300. Not sure what they go for now tho. I also got the GM serpentine setup. I think my setup comes with that sepentine system for a complete "turnkey" setup. From carb, plugs, to the oil pan. All included. Now another setup you could look into is from year one. This motor sounds sweet! Nice cam with a mean sounding idle. You have to supply the carb and dizzy tho. $2995 I had seiously thought about droppin this in my Elco...

You can get an Oldsmobile crate engine :idea: You just aren't going to get some 350hp for $2500
