I finally got off yard work trailer tires lawn mower melt down and pool cleaning!
Remember that door I said I picked up a few weeks back? It's outside on a horse and I stripped off the 88-91 lower molding also got the stripe off for the 2-tone break and cleaned it up with some window cleaner. It's not as nice as I thought but still better than what's on the truck. Lots of small dents and a rust spot bubbling in the corner. Not bad for $50 in the Northeast I'm going to repair it

So this afternoon I'm going to bust out my PDR tools and minimize the mud work I'm still down a mig welder so I'm not going to cut out the root just yet. More to come stay tuned

Well I broke out the picks, hammers, and other assorted PDR oddities.i haven't used this stuff in a long time! I put about an hour in it and lumped it out where it will look like something with a skim coat

There's still a dent on the pillar that I think I'll get out when I remove the vent window if not I'll weld a nail on it

My curiosity was killing me and the air was already up in the compressor so I took it 3 inch grinder with a 24 disc to the rust bubbles just to see how bad it was. Looks like I'm going to have some work to do between the panels when I cut it out but it's still not that big of a parch and not that big of a deal

of course now I've got to pack it all up because I just got a weather statement severe thunderstorm warnings for my area and the sky is growing dark and the temperatures dropping, guess this weekend's over for me

Hey! See you got your crane mounted, looks good. I had pictures of a new little F250 with a small crane for you, but then the work apocalypse happened and I've been out of town and off the web. Sorry. Although I did just check Craigslist and scored an unrusted uncreased, 80 specific hood for $30 bucks!

Yes I cut up some angle iron and a scrap pice of C-channel made extensions off the bed floor braces out of C-channel and wala finished! Well not finished but close. I started messing with my feeder. I need to change the amphenol plug on the cable for my feeder and I don't have the tools to do it nor do I know how. I've been doing yard work sense.

I picked up amphenol plug parts at mouser electronics for a German drill at work, it was a plastic plug for a remote, at least on that one I used the crimper I have for GM Weatherpack connectors. Your MIG probably has a metal one though?

It's been one hell of a weekend so far and it's not over yet! Friday night I loaded the Subaru with tools and took the little trailer to Pennsylvania. Saturday morning I started ripping at 8:30 and the results. Well I'll let the pictures show what I did in 12 hours with a sawzall and a bulldozer!
I got one with 90k and a blown head gasket the one in the dump was seized it took me 12 hours to get it out I got home at 2:30 this morning

I got home at 2:30 this morning and I'm trying to get hold of the builder now. Still need to dig the other one out of the shed with all the parts.

They both should have bought the running engine from Iowa! If you want to put money on this? I will head to DesMoines next week!
