Get a Holley Dominator-flange EFI https://www.holley.com/products/fue.../sniper_efi/sniper_stealth_4500/parts/550-841 , and I'll bring the Team G up. It'll be a beast with good mileage! (y)
That would be awesome! ... But you just blew the budget by about $1600 and the wife is already pissed at me anybody want to buy that small block reseal that b*tch and it would make a nice car motor .
In other news my guy wants to sell ALL his small block Chevy stuff buyer takes all and there's a ton of good stuff! just yesterday I moved a set of world product heads and a set of bowtie heads that were in the way I don't have a price for the lot but I can get you one if your interested just pm me oh and Pontiac parts too like a 400 motor

Looks like a good cam choice. I built a really tame 400 for towing with a dinky XE cam in it. That thing pulled like mad. Had an XE in a 307 Chevy that ran better than one might expect too. They really seem to shine in an otherwise docile engine with low-ish compression.

It cleaned up really nice. Once the paint was almost dry I hit it with Wd on all the inside. Because water displacement formula 40 and I'm waiting for my guy to call and let me know if I can drop it off. I also sold some of those parts I picked up over the weekend and that eases the financial blow and here's the pictures I forgot to post of the parts I got in that load Saturday

I'd really like to modify the winch bumper and the plow frame to work together I like it.

By the way I've been busy how far did the kid get?

What compression will you end up with?

It depends what set of heads end up on it that's still up in the air but the max would be like 9.5 were hoping to be about 9 the down side to those truck motors with there peanut Port open chamber heads and dish Pistons they only make about 7:1 so early closed chamber oval port heads really wake them up my guy has a set off a 396 buried in the corner of his shop we've got a dig them out and I've got a line on another set the guy wants to trade me for that rear step bumper I got the other day but who knows if he's real we shall see.
