Ok so this is me taking it easy today. The first thing I did was measure out for galvanized pipe to hook the compressor back up. Then I took a ride to home Depot. Picked up some pipe nipples, a Union in a 98 cent can of spray paint! Went home scuffed up the silver trailer rim and put my ¢98 to good use

The other one has a good tire but the rim is bent and it doesn't hold air so later I'll swap them out.

While my paint was drying I unbolted the compressor from the truck and made up my new line with a Union for disconnect purposes. When I test fired it I didn't like all the vibration my new pipe had so for now I showed it with a pice of wood I'll come up with something else later

Also on my test fire the unloader over pressured the system and I had the new one so I changed that too

Trying to cool off for a few and eat some lunch before I get back at it last night's rain cooled it down but now humidities insane and it's hot again I am on vacation you know.

Ok it's 3:30 I have to go get my paycheck. But I'm leaving my backyard shop oper because I'm making progress! The doors are in putty and the hood is basically done. I had to do a little extra work because of last night's storm and my crappy tarps tho.
IMG_20190712_152114018_HDR.jpg

I still need to go over the hood with 320 and clean up the edges before it's primed
IMG_20190712_152119244_HDR.jpg

The hood was rusty when I got it and I know it's going to come back. When it dose I'll buy a steel cowl induction hood but this one is good for a couple years.
The doors had no rot but man were they dented up!

My guess is all work trucks eventually suffer the same fate but these look a lot better than most now

It's dinner break. I went to work to get my check and while I was there I borrowed the 2 stands for painting doors off. When I got back home I mowed down the body work on the doors with 80, 150, and 180 because thatsp what I have on hand.

I won't get back to it today because I'm taking the girls for ice cream and then going to get the money for my heads. I pick the heads up tomorrow morning then it's back to bodywork. The heads I'm getting are 206 here's a picture of them
From the information I have there old closed chamber oval Port that's all I know lol send it!
