Congrats on all the good news. It's still not the 455 I've been pushing for :)mrgreen:) but I'm really glad to see it all coming together. Cool bunch of guys, helping you out like that.

Well the power is back on and time is waisting! Now I can finally make some coffee. I'm useless without coffee

I believe I commented on that transformer during my visit. IIRC, it needed to be replaced about 50 yrs ago!
Yup that's the one! After Sandy a guy from Alabama power said he never seen such an old pice of crap in service. And it still is they didn't change it again lol just patch it up and flip the breaker. It's rusty and covered in scorching but the power is back on. That's my money at work in Jersey.

I finally got around to preping and edging my doors and hood.... 2 coats of bace coat and the sky opened up!

The sun is coming back out now so I'm going to try to just blow them off and clear over them...... Work truck oh well

And please don't cringe at the painted bolts and latches someone else already painted them blue so I went with it to save time

That explains it. Not enough guys to do the work right. Seems like First Energy is understaffed for linemen in all their operating company. Too cheap to pay the meter readers they canned for the smart meters in Pa to train them to be linemen to fill those positions. They tried encouraged me at the shop before the layoff but I would of had to go almost 2 years with out steady pay, traveling atleast an hour one way for school if they would of sent me to the nearest class.
