When I left off the welder had let go on me so I looked into financing a a new trailblazer 325 unfortunately for me there's a minimum price on what can be Finance through Miller of $10,000 and they weren't open this Saturday. But I found another option turns out the secretary from works husband is the generator mechanic for caterpillar at there largest location in Jersey. Well she asked him and he took a look at it. The out come of that is he said the hole machine needs to be rewired. As you all know that's not my cup of tea however he said he will help me do it at his place one night next week. Only down side is there's a board in it that he said if it's fried the machine is done. We won't know until we replace everything that burned tho. Hence I still may need a new trailblazer if that's the case then ilI' go get one on my AMX next Friday when I'm off we're working the 4th to take a 3 day weekend so eather way I'm back to bisness next weekend. I'm still driving around with holes cut in my truck and haven't done anything with the cooling system yet because the heat and my wife are wearing me out not to mention the usual work bs. So that's where I'm at lots of questions and no answers.

Well it's 9:30 monday night and I just got home from the rewire at the guy Mike's house. We changed several feet of different guage wires did sevrsev tests and still don't know if it's going to work apparently when it arced out it did some fring on the 12v side so the fuel shut off solenoid on the carberetor won't let it eat. I was going to get a rebuild kit and new solenoid but I went on eBay and it was cheaper to buy a new carb. The estimated delivery date is the 5th so we shall see
Well they screwed me at work again! My bosses son the princess I refer to as twinkle toes dosen't want to let us take off Friday so after I all ready made plans for Friday they told us tonight no don't come in tomorrow wtf! A-holes! I think I'm going to give notice Friday. Anyway rant over back to the thred
Tomorrow's project I thought of giving it it's own thred but it's going on and under the truck so I guess it's a part of it.
In the past couple years I collected 3 broken gas powered air compressors and I want to have air on the truck even when I'm not towing my rig so my plan is to build 1 good unit to mount on the right side cabinet and mount the tanks from the other 2 under the truck where the fuel tanks used to be
Tomorrow I'll pick threw that rubble and see if I can make something work I'll let you know what happens

A 75 to 100 pound propane cylinder would give you a lot more volume and surge capacity than those hot dog cylinders. You can get new ones on the cheap too.

3rd that's ok I met with another shop owner before work this morning and he sent me a text saying he has a good feeling about me not worrying anyway gasoline Ally is right around the corner from my house anyway there's probably 20 or so body shops there to choose from (that's rt88 like in the songs from Jersey for those that don't know) anyway way it's time to slow the heart rate from all the fighting and swearing the bosses were doing today, eat some dinner, and get back to my truck and tools.
So it's on to the compressor 1 of the 3 was seized so I loaded the other 2 in the back of the truck and I'll get on them after I eat

Do you have an idea what your rates are going to be? Looking for comparison, my neighbor across the street had a dustless guy come and blast a gas pump and some panels. Guy charged $300 an hour. I'm wondering what the norm is because the Monte frame is getting close to finished.
