Hello Every'g'body...get it? Anyways, the picture attached is of my 84 Cutlass, before a much needed bath. As it sits now it has brand new BFGoodrich Radials. The fronts are 205/70/14 and the rears are 245/60/14. As it sits right now it is level. If anything it sits every so slightly lower in the rear. I want to lower it a little in the front but don't know how much. If you guys could, please reply with pics of your Cutlass/Gbody lowered so I can get an idea of what you're running. Please explain what you did to achieve the look too. Thank you all!
(I know there's a page for lowered cars but I'm bringing it back in 2013 🙂

moog 5658 springs up front (with 1.25 coils cut off)
stock worn out springs out back
Hopefully next week I'll lower the back to be as low as the front. Im waiting on the bushings and shocks I ordered to get here first.

Thank you guys for all your replies, still looking for more options so if you read the thread, please share with me the stance of your Gbody, preferably your Cutlass, thanks everyone.

IMO, just put in a set of Eibach lowering springs. It will look much better, be easy to do, and not cost you much. It can get costly when you start getting into some of the other suspension stuff. Just start with the easy/cheap stuff. You can always add other part later on if you want it even lower.

You can't tell much from my avatar pic, but I have Eibach lowering springs and the SC&C stage II adjustable upper A arms which lowered the front an additional half inch or so. Here's a side pic of my car from the SC&C website ( I don't know how to make it bigger, sorry );

Are you saying the upper control arms lower the car about a half inch?

This is what I'm refering to; http://scandc.com/new/node/36. They claim .5" to .75" drop in the front and that's about what I got.

thanks for the link. The uppers don't affect ride height, it mentions If you use a tall lower it drops the ride height . I have a tall lower ball joint that drops mine 1/2"

"For cars that include a tall lower ball joint it further improves the camber curves and roll center height for even better handling. It also lowers the car .5”-.75” and moves the spindle and steering arm to a more favorable height"

Did you use the pro kit (Eibach #3803-140)? If so, how stiff or bouncy is the ride? Any complaints or suggestions?
