Well the ones on the S10 now are the same, and it's a 91. And i think the 91 S10 has interchangeable suspension parts with a Gbody? that's off subject but just wondering.

And i picked them up new for 25$ a pop at a tire shop in Beaufort, SC 😛 sorry that doesn't help ya much lol.

They actually look good with the center caps. Kind of a sedated look, like steelies with dog dish caps in a sense.

I know what you mean about the aftermarket directional wheels... :puke:

That's exactly what I'm talking about. Something kinda low-key, but running something wide in the back.
They actually look like they have a fairly wide lip. I wonder how some 3" wide trim rings would look with a color matched flat cap?

As for them looking trashy, I can see where you're coming from with that set. If they were color matched to the body it might look better.

I think the wheels take on a whole different appearance with the center caps. I'll have to ask my friend if he still has his.. He might have tossed them.

They were the base wheel on 94+ S10s

I don't like them, even on S10s

Diffr'nt strokes for diffr'nt folks though

This is the look I'm talking about with widened wheels. Yes, it's a Plymouth but you get the idea. It's a nice car anyway.

If it's for your Grand Prix get Pontiac Rally II's. You can still find them cheap. Ames and Year One offer masking kits to repaint them. Slate Grey and Bright Silver loook best. If you want something larger than the 14-inch factory G-body Rally's, find a mid-to-late 90's Firebird with the reverse-color Rally II's, where the inner color was silver and outer color was grey. These are 15-inch with the correct bolt pattern for G-bodies. I bought a set for $15 each wheel at Pick-N-Pull, re-painted them to the "correct" dark middle, light outer colors, and wrapped them in Radial T/A's on the '85 Grand Prix LE i used to have. It looked fantastic! Man I miss that car.

Rally's take a little more effort to re-paint but they just look "right" on a Grand Prix.

My 2-cents!

I used Year one's kit to paint these when I had this car about 5 years ago. This whole thread was based on thinking out loud I suppose. I guess it doesn't hurt to toss ideas around and get opinions.

The 16" s-10 ZRQ wheels look fantastic & modernize the gbody. The 245/50/16s up front with 255/50/16s in the rear look great and hit the balance of cornering and straight line traction well. 15" ralleys also look great I had the backs widened on both the gn & the 442 in my pics.
