Steering column, going from Column to Floor shift

yea, look at the expense for a used colum, then you paint it....$250-300 expense. I'd say I have about 25$ in it to grind off, bondo it, and paint.

I figured I'd leave it in "low" so it would be out of the way, then I couldn't get the key out! :shock:

Let me ask a question then. Do you have to move the column with your hand every time to move the key from the ign? Or do you leave in the park position all the time?
