Guys, trying to take the steering column out in one piece, including leaving steering wheel on. Do I need to figure out how to disconnect at rag joint or somewhere up the column? Front clip is still on till I get some help so its tight in there. There is one bolt just above the column inside car I can't get at for the dash removal. Thanks!

There is two bolts inside under the dash by the wheel you will see them and 3 or 4 bolts at the firewall inside and one bolt inside the engine bay I find it easier if you turn the wheel so it is easier to remove that bolt then there is wiring on the column you have to pull off

Yah I see those, I'm talking about in the engine bay on the shaft itself, where can I disconnect the shaft so I can pull the whole assembly thru the interior... Does that make sense? Trying to take the whole shaft out

Just follow the end of the column shaft, you'll see a joint with a pinch bolt. Undo the bolt, remove it, and pull the intermediate shaft downward. Once you unbolt the column from under the dash and the flange at the firewall, it should slide right out... and also unplug the connectors going to the column...and cruise control wire if it's equipped with cruise.

Guys, have everything out except the main vent system now. Took the center and side units for the vents out. The main unit on the passenger side comes out how? Do I need to get at it from first removing the heater/air from engine bay? Looks like it. I'm trying to get it all out so I can weld new floor in, then take front clip off, then get the body on the rotisserie. Thanks. Also, stupid I know but how do the wiper arms come off? Thanks
