I got it from a fine fellow on this board named Pontiacgp. Best of all it plugs right in to the dash, the wiring is all in place to have either a clock or tach. You just need to wire the tach signal (white wire) to the distributor if it's not there already.

Perfect! Thanks.

I think the TA wheel (nice wheel, Mark) in your GP would look better than either of those aftermarket wheels. The spokes look kinda cheesy.
The LeCarra is a nice looking wheel as well.
I had a factory Buick 3-spoke sport wheel that I had for many years. I sold it to a guy that was putting it into a Buick Sportwagon. It would have fit in my wagon, but the color wasn't right.

GM made a few nice steering wheels. Check out your options.

Hey Steve, I put a wheel for a 3rd gen t/a in the lemans, bolted right up. I still have the firebird center cap though, these same wheels were available infieros with a center cap that had -pontiac- written on it . I am still trying to find one of those caps.

The whell is very similar to the formula design, I have no pictures though, sorry.

Some older (pre 95) jeeps have nice 3 spoke steering wheels, they will accept a GM horn button, there's quite a few color options, different dish, and different wraps too.

I was looking into them at one point but I didn't want the screaming chicken horn button either. I was checking out ebay for the older TA ones and people have gone nuts with the prices on those.

I never thought about that. Same splines?

Your 3 spoke foam wheel looks a LOT like the wheel in my daughter's 01' Cherokee.

Yup

I pirated this wheel off my 92 cherokee before I scrapped it, lol.
Some variations I forgot to mention, solid spoke (like mine), slotted spoke, and 3 hole spoke.
