Strange noise......what is it

Are you getting full TV pull at full throttle? My 88 2004R trans had 3000 rpm full throttle shifts. I modified the governor to get 4300 rpm shifts. I still can't be believe someone didn't put in a GN or Monte SS governor when the trans was built up. It is critical to this trans living that you get full TV pull at full throttle. So get 1 rubber mount and 1 solid plus the tie down? I'm bringing the car to the shop. I'm gonna have them do whatever to get it setup right. hopefully they give me an idea of what the noise
