Thought of something else. Those plastic glue on speed holes that everyone puts on their front quarters. You know like the buicks have, even though they arent buicks.

folks need to go back a learn about the things they are into or stop folowing err body else.

Here is a great one I almost forgot, ROOF SCOOPS!

I hate seeing big wheels on everything i laugh hard at the ones that don't put bigger brakes on it and leave the rear drums.Any import with the 5 inch muffler that sounds like a bubble bee in a tin can neon/led lights under a car the huge wing on a fwd.The kids that gut there interior to save weight but added 300lbs+ of stereo junk in the trunk.Best ones are the idiots that rev at my 68 mustang hate to tell them i"m lighter and have triple the power they wish they did.It weights 2543lbs with me and a full 22 gallons 600hp 575 foot pounds

My dad had a 65 mustang. He said the best thing about it was that it was so light weight. With a modded 289 he could smoke my uncles Vega with a 350. He even told me a story about a time My uncle and him were working on it with the rear on stands. When my grandpa came out and told him he had to move it. My dad said it would be a while, so my grandpa just picked the *ss end up and said," there move it."

Seriously what would be the point of one at all? on any car?

They use them on rally cars to get air into the cabin, probably other types of race cars also.

I really dont think there is many people that make it functional on daily drivers.

So basically ventilation for the driver so he doesnt cook? Yeah, beyond stupid to add one to a street car. Oh well. Its not like anyone who would actually put one on the car will ever be going fast enough to where the drag it may cause will be a issue.

Also they are used on mid-engine cars as an air intake.

if youre referring to the MR2, no it doesnt. i had an MR2 turbo last year before i bought the SS. those intakes actually make the car LOSE power. most of the time people put the scoop on the wrong side of the intake???? wtf?? even on the right side though, its purely cosmetic and will actually slow your car down if you dont do it properly. and by properly i mean alot of effort.
