ok guys i made up my mind on supercharging my 383 stroker when i get back from deployment. does anybody have a supercharged V8 here that can lead me in the rite direction?? i might even go the turbo route...any info would b great. not looking for crazy PSI either maybe in the 8 to 12 psi would b good enough for me.

i heard good things about them, do the kits they sell come with everything u need for the upgrade ie. blow thru crab? i heard those things r not cheap... anybody else?

I've seen blow through kits on jegs for like 2,000

All a procharger is is a centrifugal supercharger. With a centrifugal supercharger the boost builds with engine speed alot like a turbo. Theres not alot of lag like a turbo but most wont build power like a turbo. Superchargers themselves are pretty inefficient in a sense because they use the engine's power to build power.
