Suspension

I think if you are running stock lower ball joints and left the spring uncut it should be close to the stock height of a g body but the spring has a higher rate so you'd have a stiffer ride

i mean id like to go about 1 or 2 inches lower and take the bad body roll out during hard cornering. want to go around windy roads not just a straight line lol

if you take a look at pat's car he's got the 5660 springs with one coil cut off and said that lowered the car 2"

Ya that's about where I want mine to sit. And prob a bigger sway bar somewhere along the line to help the handling.

what I have done to improve the handling is with the tall lower ball joints that not only lower the front 1/2" they help along with the tall spindle put the upper A arm past the horizontal line. What that does is the inside front tire in a turn the camber moves towards the positive side as the suspension is expanded while on the outside tire as the A arm goes up as the suspension compresses the negative camber increases. This allows my tires to stay flatter on the surface of the pavement in the turn. As for alignment settings I use the stock settings except when it comes the camber, I set mine at 1* negative. I also run a 38mm hollow sway bar. I have found the wider A body rear end to help the car to stabilize in the corner and I've removed the rear sway bar and have found that not to affect the cornering. I have to have my front springs rated to see what they are but they seem only slightly softer then the Eibachs I was running which Eibach rate at 557 lbs. The front also is lower than what was in the picture as the springs seemed to have settled.

bilstein hps-1000's IIRC
they were designed for hotchkis springs and are better for stiff springs and handling. i have them and they work great

I want to do a lot of stuff to this car this winter ( if I have the spare cash). I'm taking care of the stuff that needs done first. I'll have to look in my racing catalogs at springs and shocks too.
