The trangulated four link in these cars is always in bind, the lower control arm style bar doesn't help things by design.the style we're talking is far more effective.
Thank you for clarifying that. So I'll be on the hunt for a 2-dr Blazer. At least now I know what to positively look for.2dr blazer points backwards and sits on the top of the axle, putting it on a G body moves it under the diff and points forward. A 4dr has the fuel tank in the spot behind the axle and the swaybar sits in a spot that doesn't work on a G body.
A 3rd gen is good and fits BUT you have to heat and bend the ends inward since they flare out a few inches at the ends.
Stock blazer 2dr bar is 1" diameter.
looks like the one i got for my 81 malibu last fall. was from a two wheel drive. fit good on my malibu with no mods.looking to improve the rear suspension on my 87 cutlass i found this on summit if my search was correct its for 2000 blazer 2w driver. for $193.99 i know some member are going to a salvage yard to find this setup for their gbody . so is this basically the same setup. thinking of purchasing this for my build i wouldn't mind spending 200.00 for all new parts. everything in my area is covered with rust

Because a frame mount bar is more effective than the factory style between the lower control arms, that's why.why not just look at ones actually for your car?
